The Q2U dynamic microphone capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern captures sound from the front of the microphone and less from the side and rear which minimizes unwanted ambient sounds and room noises from your podcast recording.
(3. 5mm) headphone jack allows for zero-latency monitoring, so you can hear yourself without any delay or echo, plus a mix of your computer audio playback.

The Q2U is a plug-and-play device, meaning it doesn’t need any special drivers to work with your computer. Just connect the microphone to your computer, launch your favorite audio software, and start recording.
NOTE: The included desktop stand is nice to have for travel but is not a very good stand for regular use. You may want to get a proper desktop stand for your podcast recording studio space so you aren’t hunched over while recording your podcast.
