  1. Andrew McGivern

This is my go to podcast digital recorder. It is small, lightweight and portable but packs all the power of a much larger and more expensive device. With four XLR microphone inputs (with phantom power), 4 headphone inputs (with individual volume control), 4 sound pad buttons for audio intros and sound fx, and multitrack recording to the SD Card, you couldn’t ask for much more. Especially considering the price. The P4 also allows you to connect a smart phone and a computer to bring in remote calls to your podcast. If you need multi-track recording into your DAW this is NOT a multi-track audio interface so it won’t be the device for you in that case.
