The Bunker Project Show 64 Notes:

A rock star joins us at The Bunker Project… and sings Oh Canada!

Her band is called “Under The Covers” and they rule!
She loves to do Guns And Roses and Def Leppard… she likes to do “love bites” because it really does!

Ian wants to know what the plan for the episode is?

She sang Oh Canada because she is singing the anthem at a major sporting event coming up…

She likes the smell of the mike… Grrrrr
Someone promised free beer for her… what is up with that?

$35 for a tablet in India… $60 if you’re not poor.
Or something like that.

Ian takes some shots at Blackberry…

Kindle Fire chat…

Our rock star uses the Nokia E72?

We talk about a government bill in the USA that is tabled to allow the government to censor the internet.

Bob says to read the book Cryptogram and all will be understood.

Bob asks who owns an Apple product?
Ian has a cool 99 cent app – my phone plus – it allows you to import your contacts and brings in all the birthdays and ages and other info about your friends and customers.

Kurt has everything Apple including Apple TV… so does Ian.
Ian likes it because it has Netflix, youtube, and more.

Andrew says Apple TV hasn’t taken off… Ian says the new one is better.

Kurt brings up 3GS owners and why they may not want to upgrade to the iPhone 4 or 4S.
With the magic jack app, he is talking on his phone over the internet.
He says he doesn’t want to get the iphone 4s because of that.

Rock Star says… Oooohhhh oooooohhhh it’s magic!!! every time magic jack is mentioned.

The Game Maven has a question… If anybody plays the digression game at home while listening to the show they must be wasted!

Google TV… They just G+ized Google Reader… and people hate it.
Google Plus is a social platform and Google Reader is a platform for reading.
Bob is throwing some stuff out there…

The singing melodies from Rock Star continue…

The Hat Maven came out with a zinger… A ZINGER!

The Game Maven wants to gamify the bunker show drinking game. Laying down the rules.

Bob brings up editable Google Maps… which allows you to edit the maps to add landmarks and stuff. Bob added a bunch of hiking trails that don’t exist. And they were approved!

James says to check out www.takethislolipop.com. It will show you exactly what Facebook knows about you.

Reeling it back…

Google applies limits and fees to maps API. Google provided the API for free to developers and suddenly changed it… Andrew says bait and switch.

Kurt wants to lay down the foundation…

Ian asks if there is AOL Maps… the jokes fly!

Bob reads a Twitter post that Bonnie made and asks what does space dot space mean?

Ian explains the difference between a Ponzi scheme, pyramid scheme, affiliate, MLM, and more…

Kurt says there are a lot of people involved and many of the companies are fortune 500.

Andrew says a great salesperson fills needs. And the problem is a lot of times an MLM isn’t filling needs but instead is selling an opportunity and leveraging a relationship with an expectation tied to the transaction ??? Does that make any sense?

Ian brings up “straight line selling” Using tonality and scripting of the pitch. He convinced people to buy and trained 24000 people how to do this. He has a book and a movie called The Wolf Of Wallstreet.

Andrew brings it back to the original topic which is pay per call affiliate programs.
The phone numbers act as an affiliate link for people who don’t click on the link but use a phone number.

Ian prefers passive fees… cash is great.

More talk on MLM’s

and the show is over… see ya!
