28th of January Egypt shut off the Internet including texting.
However it did not cut it off 100% because of model dial-up and satellite phones. We do a quick interview with one of our guests who had relatives there when it all went down.

We talk about China and suppression and then get into the Metered Internet debate in Canada. You can send a letter for free if it is going to parliament. We talk about how essay it is to burn lots of bandwidth.

He tells us about an awesome new drink, “Tomato Soap and Grilled Cheese“. Yep they are using a real Grilled Cheese Sandwich! If you are looking for the Jamaican Ginger beer and Fentimans Ginger beer, you can found it in Vancouver, try Thrifty’s Foods says Tristan.

Nokia has had a bunch of time to develop Android apps because all the other developers have been shut out till now. (1 day after the show was recorded Nokia signed a Microsoft phone 7 deal).

Blackberry launches the Fun Pad. BlackBerry Playbook vs. Apple iPad

Bob wants to go 100% Android…
then opens a Guinness beer, that was beer number 5.
