I have been using a Parrot teleprompter for several months. I have been experiencing intermittent loud bursts of static noise. Audacity could not remove these loud noises. I finally saw a post that said that static can be caused by a cell phone being too close to the camera. I did a test by recording two 5-minute videos — one with the teleprompter /cell phone attached and one without. The teleprompter+phone is calling the static. Do others experience this issue? Is there a workaround for it?

I have had this happen in the past. For a while, I was just keeping my phone away from the computer. But later I tried installing a ground loop isolator to the computer and that eliminated the feedback I was getting.
But most of the devices that are connected to the PC using USB don’t need a ground loop isolator anymore.
